The Climate Talk Show

Show trailer
Talk show at Kunsthal Charlottenborg about the climate, research and ice caps. An evening with film, talks, sound art and drinks on the rocks.

On March 26, CPH:DOX and the EU Commission will host a Climate Talk Show at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. We start off with the short film 'Climates Frozen in Time' (directed by Kenneth Sorento) about ice core research in Greenland, and subsequently invite Danish and international scientists onto the stage to speak about their research into ice, climate change and the humanitarian consequences. Instead of the film stars of standard talk shows we meet the stars of reality – the scientists who enlighten us about the climate. Meet ice core researchers from the Niels Bohr Institute, members of the UN climate panel IPCC, international director of Concito and more. We serve ice-inspired drinks to the sounds of melting glaciers in Greenland by sound artist Jacob Kirkegaard. Host: Adam Hannestad, climate journalist at Politiken.

Presented in partnership with the European Commission Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO).
