Shade Grown Coffee

Show trailer
A must for coffee lovers and climate change activists. Ecology, sustainability and idealism meet in an alternative way to making a really good cup of coffee.

Driven by a love of coffee and the desire to bring about concrete change, 'Shade Grown Coffee' follows the path from the tender beginnings and red berries of the coffee plant to the steaming hot cup of coffee which is served all over the world – also in the rooms of the Danish Coffee Collective, which plays a key role in this film. The film explores global coffee production and specifically takes a look at a very special cultivation method, which benefits both nature and the people working in the shadowy coffee plantations all around the world. Coffee is an enormous industry, but from Ethiopia to Jamaica, passionate souls are fighting for a sustainable future.
