Little Girl

Show trailer
Eight-year-old Sasha was born as a boy, but would like to be the little girl she always felt she was. Her parents take on the challenge of facing the outside world.

Sasha is an eight-year-old French girl, who loves ballet, playing with her siblings and trying out her colourful dresses. But according to her social security number, Sasha is not a girl but a boy. 'Little Girl' is a film that can't leave you untouched, and with tenderness and honesty depicts the life of a young, transgender life and not at least what it means to be the parents of a child who so badly just wants to be the girl she has always felt she was. With the help and advice of experts, Sasha's mother embarks on the task of her life: to fight for society to make space for Sasha, and allow her to be exactly the way she is.
