Denmark has for almost 20 years taken part in an armed conflict. Paradoxically, our concrete and physical understanding of what war really is is further away than ever. In this sensory cinematic sound work, the composer and documentarist Morten Svenstrup confronts us with war in the form of real sounds from war zones and stories from former deployed soldiers. These are woven together with strongly associative musical passages, which on a deeply emotional and sonic level make us relate to our nation's law-enforced warfare. The work is presented in Dolby Surround Sound in a totally darkened cinema. Mixed by Anne Gry Friis Kristensen.
