Edith Piaf gave the singer Charles Aznavour her 16mm Paillard film camera as a gift in 1948. With it, the world-famous star documented the next seven decades of his life and his existential condition, with a penchant for all the contrasting facets of life. His lovers, journeys, concerts, and exotic havens. This film is therefore exclusively based on Aznavour's own footage shot over a period of 70 years (!), accompanied by diary monologues, written correspondence and not least his music. A visual poem to life an poetry, from an unparalleled musical genius.
