The new film 'The Social Dilemma' looks at the countermovement that goes off the grid and demands to have its private data back from tech giants such as Google and Facebook. According to the best-selling writer Shoshanna Zuboff, we have entered a new form of surveillance capitalism, in which we are the raw material. The tech giants own our data and therefore us, and we have to get off the moving train ourselves if we do not want to crash into the abyss. After a special screening of 'The Social Dilemma', we give the floor to representatives of the off-grid movement for a debate about how we can take back control of our private data. Meet the journalist Anders Kjærulf, Rikke Frank Jørgensen (Danish Institute for Human Rights) and professor Mikkel Flyverbom (CBS).
